      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Working with the Stiles and Prologis Teams, we created a series of 3D designs that incorporated the contemporary architectural ques from the Beacon Lakes Retail Center for the Gateway display. The scope of work included dimensional front lit / back lit illuminated "BEACON LAKES" primary message as well as the "PROLOGIS" identity icon. Decorative illumination included a continuous recessed upper cove lighting package with concealed landscape lighting. The Gateway Identity features smooth APOLIC sheeting, raised horizontal banding and a decorative "blade" style capital feature. A multi-dimensional illuminated anchor tenant display completed the design experience.

            As Director of Design for Thomas Sign &amp;amp; Awning, Clearwater Florida, I was tasked to create a series of design conceptuals for the Gateway Entrances into the Skyway Marina District, Saint Petersburg Florida. This was a design competition that was organized by the Skyway Marina District Chair and Board of Directors, in conjunction with the City of Saint Petersburg.  The competition was based on creativity, vision and the ability to design within budget. The display specifications included exterior and interior lighting. Thomas Sign won the competition and was awarded the contract based on one of the design submittals. The outstanding Team at Thomas did a fantastic job of taking the "vision" and creating a reality that stands today as sharp as it did when it was installed in 2015.

           Working with Jim to help capture his ideas, we created 3D interior and exterior design concepts with the vintage feel he envisioned. From interior material selections, colors and layout to exterior awning and signage retro designs, we  captured a nostalgic vibe that is inviting and fun. The colors play on rust and reclaimed wood, brick, and other building materials. The hand painted wall sign with the distressed finish to the vintage Chevy pickup truck really brought Jim's dream to a reality. The scope of work included upgrading the existing pylon sign with a 6MM Electronic Message Center powered by CIRRUS. The pylon enhancements, including the "EMC", greatly increases the "curb appeal" of the business and provides instant contact and marketing capabilities with thousands of potential customers. Look for the Grand Opening of Pee Pa's Garage Craft Brewery this June!
